Commissioned by NHS Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many of our consultations are now taking place virtually. Your GP referral will still be triaged by a clinician and you will then be contacted to book either a telephone appointment or a face to face appointment.

Please do NOT attend any of the clinics if you have any symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath or change in sense of smell. Call us and we will re-arrange your appointment when it is safe to do so.

If you are attending an appointment in person, you are advised to wear a face mask or covering.

Please call our hub to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your referral.

**Polite Notice**

Dear Patients, We have undergone some changes with our phone lines to help provide a better service. The service's contact number is 01727 823111. Please follow the instructions as appropriate.  Please do not call the GP practice when trying to contact us

Thank you.

What happens after referral by my GP?

Your referral will be looked at by the Community Gynaecology Triage Team very quickly and there are three possible outcomes:

  1. Further advice will be given to your GP with ideas of different treatments or investigations that could be tried.
  2. An appointment will be offered in the Community Gynaecology Clinic to see one of the Gynaecologists.
  3. An onward referral will be made to an Acute Hospital Clinic if appropriate and you will be contacted about this.

We will contact you to advise you the next step. If this is an appointment in the Community service, we will send you an appointment by letter.
